Joy Ranch to Host 2025 Rendezvous & Music Festival This Saturday 🎶

Northeast News SD - Watertown, SD - Joy Ranch will host its annual Rendezvous & Music Festival on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with an evening music festival to follow from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. The event, held at the ranch located at 16633 448th Ave in Florence, aims to support the organization's mission to "empower individuals of all ages and abilities to achieve life-changing experiences through equine companionship and compassionate support, while fostering growth, resilience, and a sense of community."

Event Details and Schedule

The day-long festival offers a variety of activities for all ages. The gates open at 10 a.m., with the day's schedule kicking off at 10:30 a.m. with the American Legion Presentation of Colors.

Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy a range of entertainment and activities, including:

·        A magic show

·        A comedy show by Tim Williams and Lee Bruns

·        Live music from Old Time Fiddlers and Sherwin Linton

·        A shootout on Main Street

·        Mutton busting for children

All-day activities include a dunk tank with South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley, Casey Pratt, Former First Gentleman & Joy Ranch Board member Bryon Noem, and Timmy Williams, inflatables, a petting zoo, Greasy Chicken, and various food vendors.

The cost for the daytime portion of the festival is $10 for ages 13 and up, $5 for ages 4 to 12, and free for children 3 and under.

Evening Music and Services

The music festival will begin at 6 p.m., featuring live performances by the Lizzy Hofer Band and Greg Hanson & The Backroads. Tickets for the evening event can be purchased for $20 online at joyranchofsd.org or for $25 at the gate.

For visitor convenience, a shuttle service will be provided by Watertown Community Transit and Dakota Sioux Casino. The event is made possible through the support of sponsors, including American Bank & Trust, Sanford Health, and Sharp Automotive, among others.
