The Hamlin County Sheriff's Office and the Castlewood Fire Department were dispatched to the scene of the fire. Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

Northeast Radio SD News - Watertown, SD - Watertown Fire Rescue successfully protected two homes and a nearby shop after responding to a fully engulfed barn fire at 17359 464th Avenue on the afternoon of Monday, September 29th. Watertown Fire Rescue crews, including Battalion 1, Engine 1, and Tender 1, were dispatched at approximately 12:45 p.m. and arrived to find a massive smoke column visible from miles away.
