A Note on Harvest Safety

As the harvest season continues, local authorities encourage farmers and farm workers to prioritize safety to prevent similar incidents. Combining equipment, especially after long hours of operation, can pose a risk for fires due to friction, dry debris, and overheated components. Regularly clear chaff and debris from hot spots, check electrical wiring, and ensure fire suppression equipment is easily accessible and in working order.
