Agwrx Cooperative Donates $10,000 to Support 4-H Youth Programs in Codington, Clark, Hamlin, Brookings and Day Counties

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - Agwrx Cooperative has awarded $10,000 in donations to support local 4‑H youth programs across the region, reinforcing the cooperative’s commitment to rural communities and the families who participate in county fair traditions each summer.

According to Agwrx, 4‑H plays a vital role in helping young people build confidence, develop responsibility, and form lasting connections. The cooperative says its investment is aimed at ensuring those opportunities continue for future generations.

“4‑H helps shape the kind of young people and future leaders our rural communities depend on,” said Kent Borstad, Agwrx CEO. “It teaches responsibility, builds confidence and brings families and neighbors together. We are proud to invest in these programs and support the volunteers who make these opportunities possible.”

Each of the five county programs received a $2,000 donation, made possible in part through matching funds from Agwrx partners including CHS and Land O’Lakes. The contributions were presented during local Achievement Days events.

Agwrx Cooperative, headquartered in Watertown, serves producers across 10 northeastern South Dakota locations, providing agronomy, grain, feed, and energy services.
