Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - Agwrx Cooperative has donated $5,000 to the town of Florence to help fund improvements at the Florence Community Center.

The contribution, announced Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026, was made through a partnership between Agwrx Cooperative and the Land O’Lakes Foundation. The funding will support painting and other facility updates to keep the building in good shape for local residents.

“Strong communities need a place to come together, and supporting that is part of who we are at Agwrx,” said Rob Goens, chief operating officer of Agwrx Cooperative. “People have put a lot of time and energy into the Florence Community Center. We’re proud to partner with Land O’Lakes on this $5,000 contribution to help turn their work into lasting improvements."

According to the cooperative, the Florence Community Center serves as a gathering space where neighbors can support one another, families can celebrate special occasions, and residents can host local events and youth activities.

Headquartered in Watertown, Agwrx Cooperative is a member-owned cooperative serving agricultural producers across 10 locations in northeastern South Dakota with agronomy, grain, feed, and energy products and services.
