Northeast Radio SD News - Castlewood, SD - Castlewood High School is gearing up for an unforgettable Homecoming Week, packed with superhero flair, spirited competition, and community pride. This year’s theme— “With Great Power Comes Great Warrior Spirit”—sets the tone for a week of celebration, creativity, and Castlewood unity.

Meet Your 2025 Homecoming Royalty Candidates

Announced September 15, Castlewood proudly congratulates this year’s Homecoming Court:

·        Tyson Manley

These six students represent the heart of Warrior pride and leadership. Coronation will take place on Monday, September 29, at 7:30 PM on the football field, followed by the traditional Burning of the “W” and a street dance to kick off the week.

🎭 Dress-Up Days: Unleash Your Inner Hero

1. Monday – Villains Take Over! Let your mischievous side shine with villain-inspired outfits.

2. Tuesday – Superheroes Class Wars! Each class represents a color:

   1. Freshmen: Purple

   2. Sophomores: Orange

   3. Juniors: Pink

   4. Seniors: Blue

3. Wednesday – Calling All Heroes & Hero Ride Day. Dress as your favorite superhero, super duo, or super group—and decorate your ride for extra flair.

4. Thursday – Fictional Superheroes: Channel your imagination with costumes like fairies, pirates, ninjas, or any fictional hero.

5. Friday – Class Color Wars & Pack Like a Hero: Show your class pride with assigned colors:

   1. 6th Grade: Green

   2. 7th Grade: Red

   3. 8th Grade: Orange

   4. 9th Grade: Pink

   5. 10th Grade: Purple

   6. 11th Grade: White

   7. 12th Grade: Black

Then unite for Castlewood Warriors Assemble!—wear school colors and Warrior gear to close out the week in style.
