Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce Announces 2026 Thursday Night Live Summer Lineup

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - The wait is over for local music lovers and community enthusiasts in Watertown. The Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce has officially unveiled the highly anticipated summer schedule for Thursday Night Live (TNL), promising a season filled with diverse musical acts, themed community celebrations, and family-friendly fun.


The weekly concert series will transform the Watertown Community Foundation Plaza into a vibrant hub of entertainment every Thursday evening from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Residents and visitors are encouraged to grab their lawn chairs, gather their friends, and head downtown to experience what organizers are calling the “best summer yet.”


A Summer of Themed Celebrations

This year’s lineup features a mix of regional talent and community-focused themes that highlight Watertown’s unique culture.


The June Series kicks off with a tribute to local industry and heroes:

·        June 4: The season opens with Dairy-Palooza, featuring the soulful sounds of Danica Micheals.

·        June 11: The community honors local first responders during Fire Fighter Night, with live music provided by the 280 5th Band.

·        June 25: Car enthusiasts will take over the streets for the TNL Classic Night Car Show, accompanied by the music of Mogens Heros.

July brings a packed schedule of food, drinks, and high-energy performances:

·        July 9: A celebration of local craftsmanship, Watertown Made! will feature country artist Lendon James.

·        July 16: The fan-favorite Cookin’ on Kampeska returns, paired with a performance by the high-energy party band IV Play.

·        July 23: Patrons can enjoy the annual Wine & Beer Walk while listening to the Amdahl Brothers.

·        July 30: The roar of engines fills the air for the TNL Motorcycle Show, featuring the rock-and-roll hits of Vinyl 5.

August wraps up the season with gratitude and a chance for an encore:

·        August 6: The series concludes its regular run with Healthcare Night, featuring the Matt Gauger Band, as a tribute to local medical professionals.

·        August 13: A Rain Makeup Date has been reserved to ensure that if summer storms interfere, the music will still go on (Artist TBD).
