South Dakota’s Aaron Hansen Nominated for 2025 NAHB National Associate of the Year Award

Northeast Radio SD News - South Dakota - Aaron Hansen, Vice President of Sioux Falls Insurance, will be honored today at the International Builders’ Show in Orlando, Florida, as a nominee for the 2025 National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Associate of the Year Award.
The NAHB Associate of the Year Award is a high-level national recognition reserved for members who demonstrate exceptional service and outstanding contributions to the home building industry across local, state, and national levels. Hansen has become a key figure in the South Dakota Home Builders Association, consistently advancing the industry through advocacy and engagement.

“Aaron is a tireless advocate for the industry,” said Eric Meyer, President of Meyer Insurance. “He regularly represents members at state and national meetings with professionalism and enthusiasm. We are incredibly proud to see his work recognized on a national stage.”
Beyond his leadership in insurance, Hansen was recognized for his impactful work with the “Be Pro Be Proud” South Dakota task force. This initiative brings mobile workforce workshops to schools and youth events, utilizing VR headsets and simulators to encourage students to explore technical professions in skilled trades.
