Northeast Radio SD News - Clear Lake, SD - State Representative Dylan C. Jordan has officially announced his intention to seek re-election to the South Dakota House of Representatives for District 4. Running as a staunch “Constitutional Conservative,” Jordan aims to continue his fight against government expansion and rising taxes ahead of the upcoming June 2nd election.
In his announcement, Rep. Jordan cited concerns over the state’s fiscal trajectory as his primary motivation for seeking another term.
“Our state’s budget has DOUBLED in the last eight years, property taxes are skyrocketing out of control, and the state government continues to want to expand,” Jordan stated. “These issues and my love for South Dakota are some of the reasons why I decided to run for office. I want to continue to help fight for the average citizen of District 4 so that we can continue to keep the South Dakota spirit alive and well.”

During his first two years in the legislature, Jordan has built a platform centered on limiting government, expanding freedoms, and protecting God-given rights. His campaign emphasizes core conservative values, highlighting his “pro-life/pro-family, pro-2nd Amendment, pro-property rights, and pro-freedom” stances.
Jordan’s voting record has garnered significant recognition from conservative organizations. In 2025, he earned 100% ratings from multiple groups across the state, including Citizens for Liberty, SD Canvassing, SD Property Rights and Local Control Alliance, and Liberty Action. Additionally, he received an endorsement from the NRA in 2024 and is a proud member of the SD Freedom Caucus.
Outside of his legislative duties, Jordan is deeply embedded in his local community. He works in the manufacturing industry and owns a DJ entertainment company. He is also an active church volunteer and serves as a committeeman for the Deuel County Republicans.
“As your District 4 representative, my goal will be to continue to represent you, the everyday person of District 4,” Jordan added. “Let’s live the life that the devil wants to cancel! I will continue to be the consistent Constitutional Conservative for District 4.”
Voters in District 4 are encouraged to cast their ballots on June 2nd.
