Two Injured in Downtown Watertown Collision

Northeast Radio SD News - Watertown, SD - Watertown Fire Rescue responded to a two-vehicle crash Monday morning at the intersection of 1st Avenue North and Broadway Street. The collision occurred at approximately 11:45 a.m., leaving both vehicles with significant front-end damage and disabled in the roadway.


Emergency crews quickly assessed the scene and transported two individuals to Prairie Lakes Hospital for further evaluation. Their conditions have not been publicly released.


Firefighters remained on site to clear debris and hazardous fluids from the roadway, ensuring safe passage for other drivers. Watertown Police Department provided traffic control and investigative support, while Active Towing assisted with vehicle removal.


The cause of the accident is under investigation.
