Northeast Radio SD News - Watertown, SD - The local news publication, the Watertown Current, is preparing to celebrate its first anniversary with a public Open House and Ribbon Cutting event. The celebration is scheduled for Thursday, October 9, at 10:30 a.m.

The event will take place at the paper's downtown location:

13 Second St. SE, Watertown.

The community is invited to attend, meet the staff, and enjoy light refreshments. As part of the event, attendees can receive free Watertown Current sunglasses while supplies last.

The event is being held in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce.
