Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - The Watertown Development Company (WDC) will host its 2026 Annual Meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 20, bringing together investors and key public‑sector partners for an evening focused on economic growth, regional trends, and Watertown’s future opportunities.


The invitation‑only event begins at 5:00 p.m. at Joy Ranch. It will include WDC investors, members of the Watertown City Council, Codington County Commissioners, South Dakota legislators, Watertown Municipal Utilities Board members, and other invited business and community stakeholders.

Featured Presenter: Former Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken

WDC announced that Paul TenHaken, former mayor of Sioux Falls, will serve as the meeting’s featured presenter. TenHaken is expected to share insight into regional economic growth, emerging opportunities, and what lies ahead for South Dakota’s business climate.


Following his presentation, WDC Board Chairman Alan Stager will lead a fireside‑style conversation and audience Q&A, giving attendees a chance to discuss economic issues affecting Watertown and a trade area of more than 125,000 people.
