Watertown’s Peddlers Market Donates 330 Books to McKinley Students
Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - More than 300 young students at McKinley Early Childhood Center in Watertown will receive signed copies of local author Julianne Endres’ children’s book, “Little Bug Earns Her Spots,” on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026, following a donation from Peddlers Market.
According to an announcement from Endres, Peddlers Market in Watertown purchased 330 copies of the book—written by Endres and illustrated by Rebecca Hall—to be distributed to McKinley Preschool, Junior Kindergarten, and Kindergarten students so each child can take home a signed copy of their own.
Peddlers Market has sold dozens of copies of “Little Bug Earns Her Spots” throughout the year prior to sponsoring the schoolwide book distribution. In addition to providing books for McKinley students and their families, the purchase supports Make-A-Wish South Dakota & Montana.
