Watertown School District Announces Staff of the Year and Service Awards

Northeast Radio SD News - Watertown, SD - The Watertown School District 14-4 has announced its annual staff awards, recognizing outstanding leadership and long-term dedication within the school system.


Top honors were awarded in two categories: Certified Staff of the Year and Classified Staff of the Year.

Michael Stydel, who serves in District Technology, was named the Classified Staff of the Year.


In a statement about the awards, the district expressed gratitude to the winners for their contributions. “Thank you for the exceptional leadership, care, and commitment you bring to our district,” the announcement read. “Your dedication, heart, and impact on students do not go unnoticed.”

In addition to the top individual honors, the district celebrated employees who reached significant career milestones this year. Service awards were presented to staff members who have served the district for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 years.


“Whether you are just beginning your journey with us or have spent decades serving students, thank you for the difference you make every day,” the district stated.
