Watertown Women’s Leadership Conference “Limitless” Returns Aug. 4 at Lake Area Technical College

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - The Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its second annual “Limitless: Women Rising Together” conference, a half-day leadership event dedicated to empowering, connecting, and elevating women in both their personal and professional lives.

The highly anticipated event is scheduled for Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Lake Area Technical College. Doors will open at noon for networking and professional headshots, with the main program running from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Empowering Speakers and Relatable Topics

Chamber representatives Ashley Johnson, Shannon Barker, and Mackenzie Ries recently shared details about the jam-packed afternoon during a local radio broadcast. The conference is designed to inspire attendees through a mix of dynamic keynote presentations and a localized leadership panel.

·         Lisa Brouwer: An executive coach and Dare To Lead facilitator, Brouwer will present a keynote that challenges attendees to rethink the limiting beliefs and quiet assumptions holding them back from showing up fully.

·         Princess Paula Scoviera: Known for her bold attitude and sparkling tiara, Scoviera will present “Be the Ferrari.” Her message focuses on embracing your unique identity, confidently knowing your value, and recognizing that “you’re not for everyone, and that’s exactly the point”.

Local Leaders Take the Stage

In addition to the keynote speakers, the event will highlight local female professionals making waves in their respective fields, particularly those in traditionally male-dominated industries. Moderated by Dr. Melissa Meidinger, the panel will feature:

·         Anne Hansen: President of the Watertown Shamrocks hockey team.

·         Rebecca Heustess: A professional in the tiling and construction trades.

·         Missy Sinner: Entrepreneur & Co-Owner of Legends

·         Dr. Melissa Meidinger: Regional Director of the Small Business Development Center & owner of The Pulse Advantage

The panel aims to provide actionable insights into leadership, career growth, and navigating professional spaces as women.

Attendees also have the option to update their professional portfolios with headshots by Allison Kaufman Photography. The photo sessions will be available before the event kicks off, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, for an additional fee of $45.
