Northeast Radio SD News – White, SD - The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a case of intentional damage to a vehicle after a report filed late Saturday night in White, South Dakota.

According to the department, the incident occurred around 9:42 PM on September 26 in the 300 block of West Main Street. The owners of a 2010 blue Ford Escape told deputies they had parked curbside for several hours while attending an event. When they returned, they discovered the vehicle’s windshield had been struck by an unknown object, causing an estimated $300 in damage.

Deputies are asking residents in the area to review any home or business surveillance footage for suspicious activity. Anyone who may have captured video or has information is urged to contact Brookings County Dispatch at 605‑692‑2113.
