Northeast Radio SD News - Watertown, SD - Watertown residents and businesses needing to discharge clear water from their sump pumps into the sanitary sewer during the freezing winter months can now apply for the annual Seasonal Sump Pump Variance from the City of Watertown.

The Watertown Public Works Department is set to start work on the 2025 Intersection Improvements Project at the intersection of 10th Avenue NE and US Highway 81, beginning Monday, September 29. The project scope includes reconstructing the roadway to install a turn lane. This will require the closure of 10th Avenue NE from US Highway 81 to 7th Street NE. The work is scheduled to be completed by October 4, pending any unforeseen issues and weather conditions.
