Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown SD - The spirit of giving and a healthy dose of friendly competition took center stage at the Watertown Municipal Utilities (WMU) Board meeting in late December. Staff members gathered to celebrate the results of an internal holiday food drive that successfully gathered nearly 3,000 items to benefit the local Salvation Army.

Police are looking for help finding a man suspected of stealing a Salvation Army donation bucket from the Perkins Restaurant in Brookings. On Dec. 9 at about 6:13 p.m., Brookings police responded to a report of a man wearing a mask entering the restaurant, taking the donation bucket, and fleeing on foot.
