Northeast Radio SD News – South Dakota - The South Dakota Department of Health (SD-DOH) has reported a total of 83 human cases of West Nile Virus (WNV) and four deaths statewide as of October 8.

As of September 26, South Dakota has reported a total of 74 human cases of West Nile Virus (WNV), according to the latest data. The cases span 30 counties across the state, and tragically, four fatalities have been attributed to the virus.
