Joy Ranch Hosts a Magical "Night to Shine" 2026 Celebration

Northeast Radio SD News - Florence, SD - The lights shone a little brighter at Joy Ranch of South Dakota this past Friday, February 13, as guests gathered for the 2026 Night to Shine. This unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, is dedicated to celebrating people with special needs ages 14 and older.

The Royal Treatment

From the moment guests arrived, they were treated to a world-class celebration designed to make every individual feel valued and honored. The evening’s festivities included:

·         A Grand Entrance: Guests walked the red carpet, greeted by a cheering crowd and “paparazzi”.

·         Pampering Stations: Attendees enjoyed professional touches, including jewelry, hair and makeup stations, and shoeshines.

·         Full Prom Experience: The night was filled with party-bus rides that included dancing and singing, karaoke, a catered dinner, and plenty of dancing.

·         A Crowning Moment: The highlight of the evening was a special ceremony where every guest was crowned a King or a Queen, recognizing them the way God sees them every day.

A Global Movement, Locally Grown

While Joy Ranch served as the local host, the event is part of a massive worldwide movement supported by the Tim Tebow Foundation. The event’s mission is to advocate for the value of life and remind people with disabilities of their worth within the community.

“Our core mission is to empower individuals of all ages and abilities to achieve life-changing experiences,” stated Joy Ranch in their mission description. This sentiment was on full display throughout the night.

Community Support

The success of Night to Shine relies on the dedication of local volunteers who serve as “buddies,” dance floor enthusiasts, and support staff. For those who missed the in-person celebration, the movement continues to offer “Celebrate at Home” options to ensure no one is left out of the festivities.
