AARP Smart Driver Senior Refresher Course Set for Sept. 3 at Watertown Police Department

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - The next AARP “Smart Driver” senior refresher course will be held Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the Watertown Police Department, according to updated information provided to Northeast Radio SD.
The four‑hour class will run from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the department’s conference room at 128 N. Maple Street.
According to the release, the class is
“an excellent review for senior drivers who may be driving with limited flexibility, decreased vision, hearing, and reaction time as well as possible side effects to medications.”
The program is designed to help older drivers maintain safe driving practices. Completion of the course may qualify participants for insurance premium reductions, depending on their provider.
