Arrows Sweep Sioux Falls Washington Behind Run‑Rule Rout and Walk‑Off Winner

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - The Watertown Arrows closed out their regular season in dramatic fashion Saturday at Watertown Stadium, overpowering Sioux Falls Washington in a run‑rule opener before walking off the Warriors in Game 2 to complete the doubleheader sweep.
Game 1: Watertown 15, Sioux Falls Washington 0 (4 innings)
Watertown wasted no time setting the tone, erupting for 15 runs while Ashton Rabine fired a one‑hit shutout to secure a 15–0 victory in four innings.
Rabine struck out four and faced just one batter over the minimum. The Arrows’ offense backed him with a balanced attack, highlighted by Carter Buisker’s 2‑for‑3, three‑RBI performance. Jaxon Falak also drove in three runs, and Markus Pitkin added two RBIs.
Washington’s lone hit came from Caden Sporrer. Starter Sajen Haas took the loss, allowing 10 runs on seven hits over two innings.
Game 2: Watertown 9, Sioux Falls Washington 8
The nightcap delivered a very different script — a back‑and‑forth battle that ended with Kooper Heiser’s walk‑off sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh, giving Watertown a 9–8 win.
The Arrows collected 12 hits, led by Jonathan Lake, who went 3‑for‑4 with an RBI. Cole Hansen, Pitkin, and Buisker each added two hits. Buisker also earned the win in relief, allowing just one hit.
Starter Tripp Jorgenson struck out eight over four innings, giving up five runs on eight hits.
Washington’s offense was powered by Caleb Bumann’s four RBIs and a 3‑for‑5 outing from Brekken Biteler. Tyler Ringheimer, Sporrer, and Kylar White all recorded multiple hits.
Briar Rave started for the Warriors, allowing three runs on four hits across four innings. Paxton Olson was charged with the loss.
