Boys & Girls Club of Watertown Celebrates Hall of Fame Induction and Greater Midwest Board Honors

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - The Boys & Girls Club of Watertown is celebrating several major recognitions after this year’s Greater Midwest Area Council Conference, which brings together Club leaders from South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, and North Dakota.
Board members Jason Hutt and Ashley Johnson were both honored for their service and leadership. Hutt was recognized for his work as Area Council Liaison, while Johnson received the Club’s nomination for Board Member of the Year. The organization said both play a vital role in advancing its mission and ensuring strong support for youth programs in Watertown.

The conference also marked a milestone moment for longtime staff member Cindy, who was inducted into the Greater Midwest Area Council Hall of Fame — one of the highest honors in the Boys & Girls Club network. Cindy has served the Watertown Club for 33 years as Director of Finance, helping guide its growth and stability while supporting programs that impact thousands of local youth.
As Cindy enters retirement, Club leaders called the honor a fitting capstone to a career defined by dedication and service. She joins past Watertown inductees Jeff Amy, Jodi Driscoll, Courtney Livingston, and Liz Brownell in the Hall of Fame.
The Boys & Girls Club of Watertown says it is grateful for the commitment of its board members, staff, and supporters who continue to strengthen opportunities for young people in the community.
