Children's Museum Celebrates 15th Birthday

Brookings Radio - Brookings, SD - The Children’s Museum of South Dakota is celebrating their 15th birthday this weekend with a free party on the museum’s front lawn.

Kerrie Vilhauer is director of marketing and communications at the museum...

She invites kids and adults to come and play this Saturday...

Executive Director Kate Trieber said their youth advisory board, composed of kids, recently compiled a list of words they associate with the museum...

She said the museum's mission is to connect the community...

A free, outdoor celebration takes place this Saturday (Sept. 20) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the museum's front lawn. Admission or museum membership is still required for entrance into the building itself.
