Darwin ‘Joe’ Dame Receives Prestigious Price-Rees Award for Dedication to Wastewater Management

Northeast Radio SD News Special Program - Positively Watertown: The Bright Side of the Community - Darwin “Joe” Dame, a Wastewater Collections Operator II, has been recognized with the Price-Rees Award from the South Dakota Water and Wastewater Association.

Northeast Radio SD News - Watertown, SD - The City of Watertown announced that Darwin “Joe” Dame, a Wastewater Collections Operator II, has been recognized with the Price-Rees Award from the South Dakota Water and Wastewater Association. The award was presented at the Association's annual banquet on September 11, 2025.


The Price-Rees Award acknowledges individuals who have dedicated at least two decades to the water and wastewater field, including a minimum of 10 years in South Dakota. Recipients must also have been active members of the South Dakota Water and Wastewater Association for at least three of the past five years.


Dame has been an employee of the City of Watertown since August 2004, and the city recognized his 21 years of service to the Wastewater Treatment Facility.
