Northeast News SD - Bradley, SD - Drivers in Clark County should prepare for a new road closure beginning Monday, September 15, as crews continue work on an infrastructure project along South Dakota Highway 25.
The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) announced that Highway 25 will be closed from Highway 20 north for three miles to allow grading operations. A signed detour will guide passenger vehicles around the work zone via 437th Avenue and 155th Street (County Road 20). Truck traffic is advised to use alternate state routes.
This new closure adds to the existing six-mile shutdown south of Highway 20, which remains in effect. Both closures are part of a larger $11 million project to grade and resurface 12 miles of Highway 25 in Clark County.
Midwest Contracting LLC of Marshall, Minnesota, is leading the project, which is expected to be completed by June 2026.
Motorists are encouraged to plan and follow posted detours. For updates and detailed project information, visit the SDDOT website at dot.sd.gov/clarkcounty.
