Girls Varsity Player Audrey Eide Named Watertown Hockey Association Volunteer of the Year

Northeast Radio SD News - Watertown, SD - The Watertown Hockey Association (WHA) has announced that Girls Varsity player Audrey Eide has been named the organization’s 2024–25 Volunteer of the Year.


Eide, who wears number 9 for the Watertown Lakers, was recognized for her deep commitment to the sport and the local community. The WHA praised her for dedicating countless hours to the association, highlighting her work assisting with youth practices, mentoring younger players, and volunteering at numerous association events throughout the year.


According to the association, Eide's efforts exemplify Watertown Hockey's core values through her leadership, positive attitude, and commitment to giving back. Her contributions are seen as having made a lasting, inspiring impact on players across all levels of the program.
