Habitat for Humanity Receives Donation from Dacotah Bank's Give Where You Live Program

Northeast Radio SD News - Watertown, SD - The Habitat for Humanity Greater Watertown Region recently announced a donation facilitated through Dacotah Bank's community-driven Give Where You Live program.


The donation was made possible by Habitat for Humanity board member Tia Hutt, who directed the gift to the organization. According to the Habitat for Humanity Greater Watertown Region, the donation amount was $200. Dacotah Bank's program empowers its employees to contribute to local organizations and causes within their communities. The bank offers an employee-directed giving program, allowing employees to contribute up to $200 towards a recipient of their choice each year.


Alissa Bauman, Executive Director, and Tia Hutt, Board Secretary, were pictured together in an announcement acknowledging the contribution. The Habitat for Humanity Greater Watertown Region expressed gratitude to both Ms. Hutt and Dacotah Bank for their support of the organization's mission.


Habitat for Humanity Greater Watertown Region is currently engaged in a fundraising effort, "It's Hammer Time!" with a goal of raising $150,000 to fund the construction of a new home.
