Joy Ranch to Host Veterans/Military Appreciation Event in Florence

Northeast Radio SD News - Florence, SD - Veterans, service members, and their families in the Watertown area are invited to a special Veterans/Military Appreciation Event on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Joy Ranch of South Dakota in Florence.
The event, generously co-hosted by the Sea of Goodwill and the Watertown Area Community Foundation, aims to honor and appreciate those who have served.
The event will run from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with a complimentary lunch featuring a burger bar scheduled for 12:00 p.m. (noon). Joy Ranch of South Dakota is located at 16633 448th Ave, Florence, SD, just outside of Watertown.
Attendees can look forward to a variety of activities and features:
· Free Lunch: Enjoy a delicious burger bar.
· Service Family Resource Booths: Explore resources available to military families.
· Outdoor Activities: Weather permitting, guests can walk the Joy Ranch trails or enjoy a horse-drawn wagon ride. Visitors are also encouraged to check out the indoor riding arena and explore the vast 120-acre ranch.
· Indoor Activities: In case of inclement weather, there will be great indoor activities available.
· Themed Retreat Rooms: Visit the authentic Thirsty Boot Saloon and other themed retreat rooms.
· Wild Bill Game Room: Enjoy shoot hoops, play pool or ping pong, and challenge someone to checkers.
