Knights of Columbus Council 859 Donates $5,000 to Haven Center in Watertown, SD
Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - The Knights of Columbus Council 859 recently made a surprise donation of $5,000 to the Haven Center during the organization’s Family Field Day.
In addition to presenting the unexpected financial gift, members of the Knights of Columbus volunteered their time and equipment, providing a grill and cooking burgers for attendees throughout the community gathering.
The Legacy of Light Alliance, which highlighted the event in an August 18 statement, expressed deep appreciation for the group’s faithful partnership and service. The organization noted that the donation will be instrumental in continuing their mission of serving local women and families with hope and support.
