Lieutenant Chris Noeldner has retired from Watertown Fire Rescue following 24 years of dedicated service to the community.

Watertown Fire Rescue announced the retirement, recognizing Lieutenant Noeldner's significant contributions to the department. According to the announcement, Lieutenant Noeldner was known for his steady and dependable presence, his commitment to the job, and his consistent prioritization of the team and the community.


Throughout his career, he led by example, earning the respect of his colleagues through both his extensive experience and his character. Lieutenant Noeldner maintained a strong sense of pride in his work, both during challenging emergency calls and while at the station. He also played a key role in developing future generations of firefighters through his mentorship and leadership.


Watertown Fire Rescue stated that his impact on the department "will be felt long after his gear is hung up." The agency concluded by congratulating Lieutenant Noeldner on a well-earned retirement and thanking him for a lifetime of service.
