Prairie Lakes Healthcare System Names Jon Hoffman Director of Facilities Management

Northeast Radio SD News - Watertown, SD - Prairie Lakes Healthcare System (PLHS) has announced the appointment of Jon Hoffman as its new Director of Facilities Management.
In this leadership role, Hoffman will oversee the planning, supervision, and evaluation of all infrastructure and facility operations across the health system. His responsibilities include leading the facilities team, managing construction for new and remodeled projects, and ensuring all PLHS facilities are maintained to support safe, high-quality patient care.
Hoffman joins Prairie Lakes with 9 years of healthcare maintenance experience, including 5 years in leadership roles. He previously served as Maintenance Supervisor at Sanford Canby Medical Center in Canby, Minnesota.
“I’m excited to join PLHS and be part of an organization that plays such a vital role in the community,” said Hoffman. “I look forward to working with the facilities team to maintain safe, efficient, and reliable environments that support our patients, staff, and visitors every day.”
A graduate of Minnesota West Community and Technical College with a degree in Electrical Technology, Hoffman also brings a strong background in community leadership. He has served on the St. Leo City Council since 2016 and has been a member of the St. Leo Volunteer Fire Department since 2013, most recently serving as Fire Chief.
Outside of his professional duties, Hoffman enjoys spending time on his family’s farm.
Prairie Lakes Healthcare System is an independent, non-profit healthcare system based in Watertown, serving a 10-county region in northeastern South Dakota and western Minnesota.
