SDHSAA Announces State Wrestling Dual Championship Pairings

Northeast Radio SD News – South Dakota - The South Dakota High School Activities Association (SDHSAA) has officially released the pairings for the upcoming Class “A” and Class “B” State Wrestling Dual Championships. The event is scheduled for February 13-14, 2026, at T.F. Riggs High School.

Top Seeds and Defending Champions

Sturgis Brown enters the postseason looking to defend its 2025 Class “A” title as the tournament’s #1 seed. In Class “B,” Winner has claimed the top seed as they look to unseat the 2025 champion, Canton.

Opening Round Matchups

Class A Pairings:

·        #1 Sturgis Brown vs. #8 Rapid City Central 

·        #4 Watertown vs. #5 Pierre T.F. Riggs

·        #2 Aberdeen Central vs. #7 West Central 

·        #3 Brandon Valley vs. #6 Harrisburg 

Class B Pairings:

·        #1 Winner vs. #8 Tri-Valley 

·        #4 Bon Homme/Avon vs. #5 Kingsbury County 

·        #2 Canton vs. #7 Parkston 

·        #3 Kimball/White Lake/Platte-Geddes vs. #6 Custer
