Single-Vehicle Rollover on South Lake Drive Sends Two to Hospital

Northeast Radio SD News - Watertown, SD - Watertown Fire Rescue (WFR) responded to a single-vehicle rollover accident in the 700 block of South Lake Drive on the evening of November 20th. The incident involved multiple occupants and resulted in two individuals being transported to the hospital.
WFR Emergency Medical Services (EMS) units were the first to arrive on the scene. Crews reported that all occupants had exited the vehicle before emergency personnel arrived. WFR transported both patients to Prairie Lakes Hospital for further evaluation of serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
Engine 4 personnel arrived to find a sedan upside-down in the west ditch. The vehicle sustained significant front-end damage, and all airbags had deployed. Fire crews assisted with scene lighting, supported law enforcement operations, and helped with debris cleanup.
In addition to Watertown Fire Rescue, the Watertown Police Department, the South Dakota Highway Patrol, and Performance Towing assisted at the scene. WFR crews remained on site until all cleanup and towing operations were complete.
