Northeast Radio SD News – South Dakota - The South Dakota Retailers Association is now accepting nominations for its annual statewide business awards, honoring outstanding retailers, restaurants, and community‑focused businesses across the state.
Nominations are open for three categories:
· Retailer of the Year
· Restaurant of the Year
· Community Service Award
South Dakotans can submit nominations online at sdra.org/awards through Monday, August 31.
Since 1982, the Retailers Association has recognized individuals and families who demonstrate excellence in business operations, customer service, and community involvement. Award recipients are honored each January during the Association’s statewide Business Conference and Awards Reception in Pierre.
“We believe in South Dakota businesses,” said Executive Director Nathan Sanderson. “These awards are our way of giving back and recognizing those who make our state a great place to live, work, and raise a family.”
The Association encourages residents to consider the businesses that make a difference in their communities — from Main Street shops and corner grocery stores to long‑time favorite restaurants.
Nominations may highlight businesses that have gone above and beyond this year, those that consistently draw loyal customers, or those known for exceptional service and community impact.
To submit a nomination or view past recipients, visit sdra.org/awards.
