State Flags to Fly at Half-Staff for Former Lawmaker Karen Soli

Northeast Radio SD News – South Dakota - Governor Larry Rhoden has ordered all state flags at the Capitol to be flown at half-staff on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in honor of former state legislator Karen Soli. The flags will be lowered from sunrise to sunset.

Soli served in the South Dakota House of Representatives from 2013 to 2018.

A funeral service for Soli is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. CT on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
