Summer Program Guide Now Available; Registration Opens on Tuesday at 8 AM

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - The City of Watertown Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department has officially released its 2026 summer program guide. The comprehensive guide is now available online at www.watertownparkandrec.com.
Registration for all summer programs will open on Tuesday, March 31st at 8:00 AM.
Residents are encouraged to review the guide and plan, as popular programs like swimming lessons and specialty classes are expected to fill quickly.
The Parks and Recreation Department notes several important rules for this year’s registration process:
· Online Only: All summer recreation programs must be registered 100% online. No registrations will be taken by phone.
· First-Come, First-Served: All available spots are based on a first-come, first-served basis.
· Payment: All fees must be paid in full at the time of registration prior to participating.
· Age Requirements: All registrations are based on the participant’s current age or the grade they are entering in the Fall of 2026.
· No Reminders: Participants are urged to record the dates and times of their programs, as no additional notification or reminders will be given.
The summer guide features a wide range of activities for all ages across the city’s many facilities, which include city parks, the Bramble Park Zoo, Cattail Crossing Golf Course, the Watertown Family Aquatic Center, the Prairie Lakes Wellness Center, the Prairie Lakes Ice Arena, the City Auditorium, the Fieldhouse, Stokes-Thomas Lake City Park and Campground, and the Mount Hope Cemetery.

2. Click on the box on the main page that says “Program Sign-up”.
3. Log in or create an account using the prompt on the screen.
4. Add your desired programs and sessions to your cart, then check out to complete your payment.
