Northeast Radio SD News - Watertown, SD - The Terry Redlin Art Center is expanding its permanent collection this fall, announcing the acquisition of three more original oil paintings by the celebrated wildlife artist.
On October 1st, the Redlin Art Center’s gallery welcomed the paintings titled "Peaceful Evening," "Rusty Refuge III," and "All Clear." These additions boost the center’s total display collection to 173 original oil paintings.

The acquisitions were made possible through the combined efforts and "generous support" of the Watertown Area Community Foundation and Charles Redlin.
Since the Redlin Art Center first opened its doors in 1997, a total of 34 original paintings have been acquired and returned to the gallery. Guests visiting the Center can currently find "Welcome Home" signs displayed beside these acquired works.

Terry Redlin painted 214 original oil paintings throughout his 30-year career. The Redlin Art Center noted that many of the original works were sold by the artist early in his career to support his family. The Center encourages owners who are interested in returning an original painting, whether through sale or donation, to contact the Art Center.
