Travel South Dakota Wins Second Consecutive Gold w3 Award for Email Marketing

Northeast Radio SD News - South Dakota - Travel South Dakota has once again earned a prestigious Gold w3 Award, this time for its "Travel South Dakota" consumer email series. This marks the second year in a row that the organization has received the top honor from the w3 Awards.
The award was presented in the General Marketing – Email Marketing category. The recognized email series was designed to inspire travelers to visit South Dakota, offer assistance with trip planning, and guide them in mapping out adventures across the state. The content focused on using "breezy prose and vivid imagery" to capture attention amid the high volume of digital communications.
James Hagen, Secretary of the South Dakota Department of Tourism, commented on the achievement. “This recognition is a testament to the creativity, understanding of our audience, and hard work of our entire team and our partners,” said Hagen. “More than anything, it underscores our commitment to sharing the beauty, stories, and spirit of South Dakota with people everywhere. We hope this honor inspires even more people to explore, and fall in love with, our incredible state.”
The successful campaign was executed in partnership with the advertising agency Lawrence & Schiller.
The w3 Awards, established in 2005, recognizes excellence in digital content, design, and user experiences, honoring groups that set digital trends and shape the online landscape.
