Two Injured in Rollover Crash Near White, SD

Northeast Radio SD News - White, SD - Two individuals were transported to the hospital Saturday evening following a single-vehicle rollover accident just east of White.


At approximately 5:50 p.m. on February 21, 2026, Brookings County first responders were dispatched to the scene on 207th Street, near the intersection of 476th Avenue.


According to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office, a white 2002 Ford F-150 was traveling eastbound when the vehicle left the roadway. The driver reportedly overcorrected, causing the truck to overturn and come to a rest in a field on the south side of the road.


Authorities confirmed that both occupants were ejected from the vehicle during the rollover. Investigation at the scene revealed that neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.


The two occupants sustained various injuries in the accident:

·         The Driver: A 35-year-old woman from Brookings reported an ankle injury.

·         The Passenger: A 32-year-old man from Arlington reported a chest injury.


Both individuals were treated on-site before being transported by ambulance to the Brookings Emergency Room for further medical evaluation.
