Northeast Radio SD News - Watertown, SD - The Watertown Baseball Association has officially opened the nomination period for the Class of 2026 of the Watertown Baseball Hall of Fame. Community members are encouraged to nominate deserving individuals who have made significant contributions to the local baseball community.

The nomination period is active now and will conclude on December 31, 2025.

Nomination Process and Criteria:

The association has streamlined the nomination process to be accessible to the public. To submit a candidate, nominators are asked to use the designated Google form, available via the link below or on the Watertown Post 17 Facebook page.

The selection committee only requires the nominee’s name and some basic information to initiate the review process. A key detail of the process is that once an individual is nominated, their name remains on the ballot for consideration in subsequent years until they are inducted.

Hall of Fame Weekend Details:

The official induction ceremony for the 2026 class is scheduled for Friday, May 1, 2026, at 2nd Street Station.

The celebrations will extend into Hall of Fame Weekend, as the Watertown Arrows are set to face Brandon Valley on Saturday, May 2nd. The newly inducted class will be honored as part of the weekend’s baseball festivities.
