Fire crews arrived to find a roughly four‑foot‑tall pile of yard waste smoldering for unknown reasons. The landowner used a skid loader to spread the material while WFR’s Tender 1 soaked the pile to ensure it was fully extinguished. The landowner later covered the debris with dirt.

WFR remained on scene for about 30 minutes.
