Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - Visitors to Lions Park have a new feature to enjoy following the installation of a custom lion head drinking fountain and bench. The upgrades were purchased and donated by the Watertown Lions Club to enhance the beauty and functionality of one of the community’s favorite gathering spaces.

Community Partnerships Drive Success

The project was made possible through a collaborative effort between the Lions Club and several local businesses that donated their labor, materials, and expertise.

“Projects like this don’t happen without strong community partnerships,” said Watertown Lions Club President Jamie Mack. “We’re grateful to Gray Construction, Active Heating, Engelstad Electric, and GCC Redi-Mix for helping bring this project to life. Together, we’re continuing to make Lions Park a place where families can gather, play, and create memories for years to come.”

The Lions Club extended its sincere appreciation to the local businesses that contributed to the project:

·         Gray Construction

·         Active Heating

·         Engelstad Electric

·         GCC Redi-Mix

More Upgrades Ahead

The new fountain and bench are part of a broader, ongoing effort to invest in the park. Additional improvements are already in the works, with two more benches scheduled to be installed near the playground area later this summer.
