Watertown Post 17 Announces 2026 Summer Baseball Team Award Winners

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - Following the conclusion of its summer baseball season, Watertown Post 17 has announced its 2026 postseason team award recipients, recognizing standout performers across multiple categories.


Most Improved honors went to Hunter Halajian, who delivered one of the program’s strongest late‑season surges on the mound and at the plate.

Jonathan Lake earned the Iron Man Award.


Post 17 named Jackson McClemans its Pitching Ace, highlighting his leadership on the staff and multiple complete‑game performances during regional play.

Defensive awards were split between infield and outfield. Carter Buisker received the Gold Glove – Infield, while Jaxon Falak earned the Gold Glove – Outfield for his range and defensive efficiency.


The team’s Offensive MVP was awarded to Markus Pitkin, who delivered several clutch performances during the postseason run.
