Watertown Regional Airport Passenger Traffic Jumps 25% in September 2026

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - Watertown Regional Airport reported another strong month of passenger traffic in September, with 1,337 total enplanements, a 25 percent increase from the same month in 2025.

Of those passengers, 458 traveled through Minneapolis–St. Paul and 879 traveled through Denver, continuing the airport’s steady year-long growth across both routes.

Airport officials said the September numbers reflect ongoing momentum in local air travel and sustained community support. In a statement, the airport thanked travelers for choosing Watertown Regional Airport and noted that staff

“look forward to welcoming you aboard again soon.”
