Watertown Rodeo Postponed Until 2027 as Fake Facebook Ticket Pages Target Watertown Residents

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - Northeast Radio SD News has confirmed with MacKenzie Blais, proprietor of K&H Rodeo, that there will be no Watertown Rodeo in 2026. Blais said the event is being postponed until 2027, and no tickets are being sold for this year.


Even with that confirmation, multiple fraudulent Facebook pages continue to appear, falsely claiming the rodeo is happening this weekend and directing residents to buy tickets or live-stream the rodeo through third‑party links.


These pages are not affiliated with K&H Rodeo or any legitimate Watertown rodeo organization.

A few common signs the pages are fake:

·         They typically have very few followers,

·         Are recently created,

·         And often use generic or recycled rodeo photos with no Watertown‑specific details.


Residents are advised to ignore the posts and avoid purchasing tickets from any unofficial online source. The next Watertown Rodeo is expected in 2027.
