Watertown Shamrocks Announce Action-Packed January with “Guns & Hoses” Appreciation Night

Northeast Radio SD News - Watertown, SD - The Codington County Hockey Club has announced a full slate of home games for the Watertown Shamrocks this January, featuring weekly matchups and a special tribute to local first responders.

The month kicks off this weekend, Jan. 2 and 3, with “New Year’s Nights” sponsored by Prairie Lakes Healthcare System. To celebrate the start of 2026, the first 500 fans in attendance on Friday night will receive free thundersticks.

Honoring Local Law Enforcement and Firefighters

A major highlight of the month will take place on Saturday, Jan. 10, during the “Guns & Hoses Night.” This event is dedicated to showing appreciation for the Watertown Police and Fire Departments.

Through a partnership with Midwest Foam and Embrace Dentistry, all Watertown Police and WFR staff are eligible to receive two free tickets to the game. First responders interested in claiming their tickets should contact the club by phone at 605-303-7811 or by email at info@watertownshamrocks.com.

New Year, New Gear

In addition to the expanded game schedule, the Shamrocks have launched new items in their official merchandise store. New featured arrivals include:
