Watertown Street Closure: 11th Street NE Shut Down for Paving Between Arrow and First Avenues

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - A short stretch of 11th Street NE will close temporarily this week as city crews complete paving work, according to a public service announcement from the Watertown Engineering Division.

The closure begins Wednesday, Oct. 14, and affects 11th Street NE between Arrow Avenue NE and First Avenue NE. The city says the roadway is expected to reopen Thursday, Oct. 15, weather permitting. The city plans a follow‑up day closure next week to pave a cut in the roadway.

“Beginning on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 11th Street NE will be closed between Arrow Avenue NE and First Avenue NE due to paving work,” the PSA states. “Drivers should use an alternate route.”

Residents and motorists traveling through northeast town should plan ahead for delays and detours during the work period.
