Joy Ranch is hosting a Night to Shine prom on February 13, 2026, for individuals with special needs aged 14 and older. This event, part of a global celebration of God’s love, promises a night of royal treatment and joyful memories. Countdown: 107 days, 23 hours, 17 minutes, and 23 seconds to go!

Northeast Radio SD News - Watertown, SD - Cornerstone Church and Joy Ranch of South Dakota will once again co-host the annual Night to Shine event, an unforgettable worldwide prom night celebration sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. The event, dedicated to honoring and valuing people with special needs, is scheduled for Friday, February 13, 2026.

The complimentary event will be held simultaneously by hundreds of host churches around the globe, with the Watertown location at Joy Ranch, a non-profit organization situated on a 126-acre barrier-free ranch a few miles outside of Watertown.

A Night of Royal Treatment

Night to Shine is open to people with special needs ages 14 and older. Each event is tailored to its location, but guests receive a complete royal experience designed to celebrate them as "God’s image bearers."

The evening’s activities typically include:

·         A red-carpet entrance complete with a warm welcome from cheering paparazzi.

·         Pampering stations for hair, makeup, and shoeshines.

·         Limousine rides and dancing.

·         Access to a karaoke station, snacks, and a dedicated Sensory Room.

·         A Respite Room providing a place for parents and caregivers to relax.

The night concludes with a crowning ceremony in which every attendee is honored as a King or Queen.

A Growing Worldwide Movement

Mark Tracy, Pastor of Mission and Outreach for Cornerstone Church, noted the significance of the final ceremony. “As the dance concludes, a crowing ceremony is held where every guest is honored as a King or Queen—the way God sees them every day,” Tracy stated.

Tim Tebow, founder of the Tim Tebow Foundation, expressed his enthusiasm for the event's global impact. “Night to Shine is my favorite night of the year! Through the years, we have truly seen this event transform into a movement of the Holy Spirit... celebrating and advocating for people with disabilities and the value of life,” Tebow said.

The Tim Tebow Foundation supports host churches by providing planning resources, guidance, and the opportunity to apply for financial grants. Over the past decade, the global initiative has provided over half a million guest experiences and over a million volunteer experiences.
