Watertown Yard of the Month Committee Announces July Winners Across City Wards

Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD - The Watertown Yard of the Month Committee has announced the July winners, recognizing homeowners and businesses whose landscaping, creativity, and upkeep help beautify neighborhoods across the city.
This month’s honorees include:
· Ward A: Wade & JoEllen Heiser — 1502 12th Ave. NE
· Ward B: Scott & Leah Mohr — 609 North Maple
· Ward C: Fred, Epe & Michael Hildebrandt — 110 5th Ave. SW
· Ward D: Bart & Kathi Swenson — 602 East Kemp
· Ward E: Greg & Robin Larson — 1106 43rd St. NW
· Whimsical Category: Joe & MaryLee Plut — 1401 4th Ave. SW
· Business Category: Fallout Shelter Ministries — 10 2nd St. SE
The Yard of the Month program highlights residents and businesses who make Watertown a more vibrant and welcoming community.
According to the release,
“The Yard of the Month program celebrates homeowners and businesses whose care and creativity help make Watertown a more beautiful place to live.”
Awards are presented in June, July and August. Winners receive a custom Yard of the Month sign, a certificate signed by the mayor, Watertown Bucks and
“plenty of neighborhood bragging rights.”
Residents may still submit nominations for August. Entries can be submitted at County Fair Foods, Curated, Gather, Watertown Flowers, Watertown Regional Library, Wheel Inn or online at bit.ly/WatertownYardoftheMonth. Self‑nominations are welcome.
